There are also other celebrations along the Route in Catoosa, Sapulpa, Arcadia, Edmond, and Oklahoma City. NCAA Softball Championships are in Oklahoma City as well, even if OU isn’t playing. Food Friday: The Tater Coop

I’m really starting to love food trucks. At one time I was a little uncertain about them but over the past few years I have found some amazing food. One that has quickly become a favorite is The Tater Coop.

I first heard about them from my daughter, Miss Mae. She told me how good it was and if I ever saw them, I needed to try their fries. Last year at the El Reno Onion Burger Day I got my first chance. They have an extensive menu of toppings for their fries, but I wanted to try the garlic parm dill-uxe. All they do are fries are fresh potatoes that have been twice deep fried, so they are a perfect consistency for toppings. On top of the box of fries for the garlic parm dill-uxe, there is a roasted garlic sauce, shredded parmesan, shredded mozzarella, chopped bacon, ranch dressing, with a dill pickle relish. This has become my go-to order every time I see them at an event and I love every bite. Each fry ends up with an explosion of flavors. I can’t explain why, but it all works.

The Tater Coop has been travelling the state since February 2024. The best way to find out where they will be is to follow them on social media. I give them 5 strips of bacon.
