I’m always looking for a good local-owned burger place. Yes, there are several in the Oklahoma City metro area but I’m up for trying more. I had heard about Just Burgers for a few years but their location on NE 23rd north of Midwest City was a long drive for me. So I was excited to hear about a new location on NW 23rd not too far from my home.
Started in 2023, Just Burgers is just what they say they are, just burgers. Nothing else on the menu except for fries to go along with the burgers. We stopped at the new location at 3409 NW 23rd Street on a quiet Saturday night. No problems ordering, just kept it simple- a double up burger with cheese combo. The double up burger is 2 beef patties with lettuce, pickle, tomato, and onion piled high as well as JB sauce, mustard, mayo, and cheese. The burger was great, meat had a good flavor and all of the veggies were crisp and fresh. I loved the fries, crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside.
Service was great, we even got free fresh baked cookies. I loved the environment and can’t wait to visit again soon. I’m giving them 5 strips of bacon, on a burger of course.
